Sprint Drills

The Girls Squad has been developed to contribute to the health and fitness of young girls across Ireland and to promote the growth of athletics in schools, clubs, and communities.

An integral aspect of The Girls Squad will be supporting young girls with their physical, social and psychological wellbeing.

Developing sprint mechanics is very important for sports performance as it allows individuals to be more efficient with their energy and body, thus reduces the incidence of injury.

These drills support all athletic activities and can be applied to all sports.
